Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, and travel requirements):
Adhere to the principles of Holcim's safety, health and environmental policies and demonstrate Holcim's values and guiding behaviors
Develop and maintain operator displays (Human-Machine Interfaces - HMIs)
Maintain LINKman and high level control for overall equipment optimization and efficiency.
Troubleshoot hardware and software applications to maintain efficient operation of control systems
Tune control loops
Generate and maintain production reports from the control system; build and modify trends for operations
Verify instrumentation signals; validate alarm levels on signals
Maintain system; modify the database and add new tags; troubleshoot interfaces with control system, AspenTech, and ABB Knowledge Manager (TIS).
Responsible for monitoring, stability, integrity and efficiency of Process Control network systems. Administer and maintain Process Control LANs, hardware and software
Install new software, updates existing software, train users and troubleshoots software/hardware problems
Support engineering with major electrical/instrumentation projects, develop capital investment recommendations within the area, and preparing cost estimates and justifications for the capital plan, conducting economic and operational feasibility studies on proposed electrical modifications and addition
Act as backup supervisor as needed
Occasional travel
Educational Criteria:
Bachelor's degree desired; computer science, engineering or related field preferred

Other Related Experiences Required or Preferred :
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with the cement industry is helpful
Working knowledge of PLC programming, control systems and automation required.
Responsible for ISO requirements regarding instrumentation and control systems.
Required experience in instrumentation, industrial motors, programming and process control, starters and VFD drives, Wonderware HMI, FactoryTalk View, and Allen Bradley PLC
Required ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
Required ability to design electrical installation and control systems including P&ID;'s
Experience with factory acceptance test, site acceptance test, and commissioning required
Management (maintaining and troubleshooting) of continuous emission monitors (CEMS) desired
Experience with various communication protocols, IT Networks, and virtualization desired

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
