Summary:
This position will be assigned primarily to the STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS of Town Pump, Inc.
Convenience (C) Stores.
Responsibilities include customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating, and displaying merchandise, housekeeping inside and outside of store, store safety and security, and coffee counter sales and preparation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Waiting on the public, providing exceptional customer service.
Fulfilling customer orders for food and beverage items by following STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS recipes for espressos, lattes, Frappuccino's, and coffee combinations.
Working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Operating computerized cash register, giving correct change, scanning credit cards and checks.
Stocking shelves, supplies, and the cooler.
Clean and maintain the coffee counter and other areas of the store (including restrooms and deli area).
Building a relationship with customers, suggesting products, and assisting customers with merchandise location.
Completing shift paperwork accurately and effectively.
Using fire extinguisher and other safety equipment as needed.
Detecting shoplifters.
Following vendor check-in procedures.
Listening and handling customer complaints.
Utilizing price book, safety manual, and store rest room logs.
Advising store manager of any situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.
Answering and screening telephone calls properly.
Maintaining store front:
customer seating areas, parking, exterior windows, and sidewalks, to include shoveling (seasonal)NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Any other job duties as assigned by supervisors.
